Job description :
Capgemini is seeking a Vice President level executive to grow and strengthen capabilities in our team of Intelligent Industry playing field.
The executive will be accountable for the expansion into offering in the NA market across industries and responsible for the strategy, sales, growth, and client delivery, with support and collaboration from the Invent Capability Unit and Industry Leadership team. The ideal candidate will have extensive professional services/consulting experience, a proven foundation in conceptual frameworks and how they can be used to help solve some of our client’s biggest problems.
Besides a focus on client delivery, you will be responsible for a dedicated capability team and support to build out this team further. The candidate will be both a “thinker” and a “doer” and will have proven a high degree of collaborative business practices in his/her/their previous executive work experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Lead team pursuits in the Digital Engineering space for Intelligent Industry
Collaborate with senior colleagues across Capability Units and Industries to sell and lead all aspects of large digital transformation related projects
Build and maintain solid business relationships and develop competitive value propositions resulting in a strong pipeline of sales.
Represent and approach the market from a platform of distinct credibility, based on established client relationships and published thought leadership around key issues facing organizations and their current frameworks and business models
Identify, assess, prioritize, qualify and close new business opportunities
Develop strategies and tactics for penetration of new accounts in addition to cross selling and up-selling to established accounts
Track and communicate status against defined goals and targets for the region and for client teams as needed
Establish transparency with industry influencers through publishing articles and speaking at industry forums and conferences, representing Capgemini as the NA Leader for Digital Engineering and related topics
Work with Capgemini client executives to further penetrate major accounts and develop new business based on credible relationships with top client/prospect executives
Position our brand in the market to develop stronger recognition and identity
Recruit, develop and mentor team members, to define and pursue career objectives
Operate as a collaborative and visible advisory to the broader consulting community, within their ‘hub city’, the NA Invent market, and globally
Be recognized an industry authority internally, both locally and globally
Required Skills:
As a VP within the Intelligent Industry pillar, and on the broader NA leadership team, you will be engaging with all levels of the organization, be knowledgeable of trends and opportunities within your capability area and a thought leader in your space.
The ideal candidate will have 15 years of consulting and advisory experience within the Advisory practices of a management consulting or technology company. Additionally, the VP candidate should have deep and broad industry knowledge of various markets, competitors, future trends, and service offerings.
In addition, you’ll have the following experience and personal attributes:
A solid understanding of Digital Engineering trends and challenges
Proven experience in business process optimization, organizational design and transformation, digital transformation from strategy to execution
Strong executive presence and entrepreneurial spirit
Superb leadership and team building skills with ability to build consensus and achieve goals through collaboration rather than direct line authority
A positive, results oriented style, evidenced by listening, motivating, delegating, influencing, and supervising the work being done
Ability to establish immediate credibility among their peers, a professional who is respected for their intelligence and technical expertise
An engaging/open interpersonal style complimented by the analytical pragmatism vital to quickly dissect highly sophisticated issues
Strong interpersonal/communication skills with the professional staff, senior level executives, and the business community at large
The ability and willingness to partner internally and externally to achieve appropriate objectives for clients and for the Capgemini
