About the Department

The Master of Science in Analytics (MScA) program provides a thorough knowledge of techniques in the field of analytics and data science, and the ability to apply those techniques to real-world business scenarios. Building from a core in applied statistics, math, and programming, the MScA program provides advanced analytical training that allows for the development of the ability to draw insights from big data. This includes: machine learning and predictive analytics, deep learning, reinforcement learning, data engineering platforms, time series analysis, linear and non-linear models, statistical methods, and other sophisticated techniques for analyzing complex data.

Job Information

Job Summary:

The Temporary Instructional Assistant is responsible for providing support to the Instructor of record.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the Canvas site, as determined by the instructor.
  • Managing class discussion, as determined by the instructor.
  • Providing remote review sessions outside of class, as determined by the instructor.
  • Providing remote office hours, as determined by the instructor.
  • Responding to student inquiries and providing guidance.

Competencies:

  • Experience and understanding of analytical concepts.
  • Ability to effectively communicate.
  • Strong organizational skills.

Additional Requirements

Education, Experience or Certifications:

Education:

  • Master of Science in Analytics degree preferred.
  • Bachelor\'s degree required.
