Conagra Supply Chain Digital Product Manager in Chicago, Illinois

Reporting to the Sr. Director Advanced Analytics you'll be a critical player in Conagra Brands' digital transformation. As the Digital Product Manager (DPM) you'll work as a member of the Supply Chain Advanced Analytics and Data Science team to help maximize the value data-driven digital products and define the work for Agile scrum teams. You'll determine and oversee delivery of the strategy and roadmap for their products to achieve goals and financial objectives. Responsibilities will include coordinating with IT, business, and financial stakeholders to set priorities, managing new development and operations, and providing direction and oversight to product teams.

You will collaborate daily with peer product owners and business leads and sets the direction and priority for the QA and development work required to deliver the product, from MVP through continuous delivery. Own the functional and non-functional epics, features, and stories for the team. Your primary charge is to build and maintain the product roadmap and backlog.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of our goals and processes to inform product priorities and improvement recommendations

  • Develop relationships and communicate with product stakeholders and customers to shape the product strategy and prioritize needs

  • Lead product strategy, planning, and life cycle management efforts

  • Guide the product engineering team to scope, plan and deliver work, applying established delivery methodologies (e.g., Agile methods) and best practices (e.g., reusability)

  • Establish product roadmaps and release plans that satisfy requirements and achieve business outcomes

  • Define, track, and communicate relevant KPIs and milestones for the product to measure performance and contribution to our goals and strategy

  • Monitor business, market, and technology trends to inform product strategy and propose new solutions

  • Increase adoption and consumption of product capabilities

  • Help translate business requirements into applicable product and technical requirements

  • Monitor and evaluate product performance and champion product improvements.

  • Identify and resolve blockers to achieve business objectives for the product, including technical and resourcing challenges

  • Determine internal and external resources and skills required for the product team to deliver on the product roadmap

  • Ensure understanding and adherence to corporate, financial and IT standards such as architecture, compliance, security

  • Manage investment decision-making and finances for the product, taking a return-on-investment approach to increasing the value while minimizing product costs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, supply chain, engineering, or related field

  • CPG or Supply Chain experience

  • 5+ years of product management or related experience

  • Experience leading a technical team while simultaneously managing multiple projects

  • Experience determining and overseeing analytics development projects and estimating resource requirements

  • Experience using data and insights to inform product development, including experience applying data to inform decision-making and independently solving software engineering problems

  • Use your strategic thinking, relationship building and collaboration skills across matrixed stakeholders with an ability to surface, prioritize, and balance multiple priorities

  • Experience understanding business partner and client needs and communicating complex technical information in an clear way to several stakeholders

  • We ask that you travel up to 20-30% to Omaha or Chicago
