Senior VDC Manager - Chicago, IL. Report to VIATechnik Directors and Studio Leads on VDC/BIM services. Manage VDC/BIM projects, including 3D BIM creation, clash detection among models, clash resolution, 4D simulations, 5D quantity/cost analysis, point cloud to BIM, virtual reality, augmented reality, and other VDC/BIM applications. Integrate BIM and Lean processes to achieve optimized VDC processes. Create detailed schedules, project plans, and budget projections to manage multiple projects to successfully and effectively complete them. Proactively identify and communicate gaps in planning to clients and stakeholders. Participate in interviewing, selecting, and reviewing employees within the department as needed. Assist in providing estimates, take-offs, and bids for potential work and change orders. Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, including actively supporting the creation of playbooks and standard operating procedures. Enhance VIATechnik\'s goal of continuous improvement within our company, for our clients, and for the industry. Responsible for on-time completion, overall budget, quality, and client satisfaction on projects. Serve as the primary interface to clients and cultivate client relationships. Present work to clients. Conduct and/or actively participate in meetings with clients. Resource alignment, work planning, coordination, and management of a team of BIM specialists, other VIATechnik project team members, and third-party vendors. This includes presenting the project scope and instructions to the team, ensuring all questions are answered, team output is received on time, and the team is producing high-quality work. Learn and present new VDC technology applications for our team and clients. Travel to client sites and other VIATechnik company locations. Contribute to the VIATechnik culture of professional development and knowledge sharing by participating in and leading training efforts. As assigned, serve as the people manager for VIATechnik employees from entry to manager levels. Includes supporting career development, feedback, training, and project execution success for all direct reports. Other similar professional duties as assigned. M-F; 40 hrs/week. \$115,000.00/annum.
