JOB OVERVIEW

The Research Analyst will play an important role in advancing the ACGMEs strategic mission of improving health and health care by participating in research studies pertaining to ACGMEs accreditation standards, GME training experience, and outcomes of medical education. To do this, the Research Analyst will be responsible for managing, editing, and analyzing data sets from multiple origins. The Research Analyst will contribute to the design, implementation, and dissemination of research. The Research Analyst will provide consultation to others as circumstances require. The Research Analyst will be part of a team that generates the ACGMEs research agenda. The Research Analyst will aid others in the department by sharing expertise in research methods, analytical technique, and data management.

• Masters degree from an accredited university in public health, education, economics, econometrics, psychology, psychometrics, health informatics, political science, or related field.
• Four or more years of relevant experience conducting research related to education, learning, health services delivery, and/or physician behavior.
• Demonstrated familiarity with the use of clinical data and medical educational assessment data, such asthe ACGMEs Milestones data.
