The Opportunity

Hyatt is in search of a dynamic & driven RDRM to lead the strategic and tactical initiatives that maximize revenue and profitability for the hotels within the region. In this capacity, you'll work closely with hotel revenue leaders, sales and marketing teams and general managers to implement effective pricing strategies, inventory management,and distribution strategies. This position works closely with complementing RVP of Sales, playing a pivotal role in driving results to their portfolio of hotels. This position will be focused on training and development for revenue management talent, outperforming direct competitors, and helping to maintain Hyatt's reputation as an industry leader in hospitality. The Role

Position Responsibilities / Essential Functions

•Develop and execute revenue management strategies for the region.

•Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for revenue growth.

•Support Revenue Managers and their hotels to design action plans that will elevate the overall performance of the hotel, area, and company.

•Organizes and leads the training for new Revenue Managers, responsible for spreading the company’s Revenue Management culture.

•The RDRM will closely work with Commercial RVPs to drive a cohesive regional strategy. Work with cross-functional senior management to ensure alignment.

•The RDRM will work in tandem with the RVP of operations to achieve common goals and to make sure operations and revenue teams support each other.

•The RDRM will work with the RM to develop strategies to support the room upsell regional goals and support the sales of non-package items.

•Work with other Regional Directors to coordinate strategies across regions, will maintain open communications across regions.

•Work with General Managers to facilitate performance reviews and goals for their Revenue Managers.

•When appropriate the RDRM will attend owner and asset management meetings to support the hotel team and bring overall perspective of the state of the business.

•Ensure that weekly hotel Strategy meetings are executed in accordance with Hyatt Revenue Management standards by participating in these as needed.

•Oversee the revenue forecasting process for each of the hotels in the region to ensure that the accuracy of each forecast falls within Hyatt standards. Evaluate the Annual Budget for each hotel.

Qualifications:

Experience

•Must have at least 5-8 years of Revenue Management and commercial experience.

•Previous experience in a leadership position

•Previous experience working with Revenue Management systems and financial reporting

•Experience in Budgeting and Revenue forecasting processes

•Solid communication skills, written and verbal.

Education

•University Degree

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

•Certification in Revenue Management preferred, courses in revenue management, data analytics and pricing strategies.

Computer Skills Needed to Perform this Job

•Previous use of Revenue Management Systems

•Great usage of Pwer Bi

•Advance Excel and problem solving
