Actalent Project Manager in Chicago, Illinois

Job Title: Project ManagerJob Description

Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets for Job Order Contract (JOC) projects. Ensure all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients. Maintain strong relationships and ensure client satisfaction through effective communication & project updates. Lead and coordinate project teams, including subcontractors, suppliers, and internal staff. Ensure all team members understand their roles and responsibilities. Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations. Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports. Provide regular updates to senior management and clients. Monitor project expenses and implement cost-saving measures where possible. Ensure all financial aspects of the project are managed effectively. Thoroughly go through line item requirements on projects and piece together proposals to be sent to the city.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Chicago, Illinois.

Work Environment

2 office locations: one located in downtown Chicago and one located in Rosemont, both right off the CTA Blue Line. 99% of time spent at their downtown office (JOC HQ) with an occasional site visit. WFH flexibility on an as-need basis (doctors appointment, illness, etc.)
