Duties and Responsibilities
As a Postdoctoral Researcher at the PBEnergyLab (https://pbanerjeelab.com/), you will play a vital role in advancing the research agenda. Your responsibilities will include:
The experimental synthetic development of inorganic nanocrystals or macromolecules with relevance to solid battery electrolyte applications.
Characterization ( SEM , Raman, XRD , DSC / TGA ) and small-angle x-ray scattering studies performance testing of solid electrolytes, along with engaging scientific communities for feedback.
Supervise master and undergraduate students from various science programs at LUC .
Develop technologies to optimize the operating conditions of Na- or Li-ion batteries.

Minimum Education and/or Work Experience
PhD required in related field.
Qualifications
A PhD is required in a closely related field (Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering)
Preferred:
Extensive expertise in the areas of synthesis and self-assembly techniques relevant to inorganic nanocrystals or macromolecules. A few of the following characterization skills ( SEM , SAXS , Raman, GISAXS , XRD )will be required for this position.
Certificates/Credentials/Licenses
