We are seeking a Multimodal Project Manager (ENG Transportation Planner 2) to join our Engineering team! Come join us!
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Conduct research, prepare plans, reports, and perform data analysis to support multimodal transportation projects.
Lead and support Transit Studies, Hazard Analysis, and Safety Planning.
Provide planning and project management support for multimodal transportation, infrastructure, and safety projects involving bus, rail, stations, facilities, BRT, pedestrian, bike and integrated corridors.
Monitor project scope, schedule and budget adherence.
Perform assessments and activities to support project management, construction management, PMO, quality assurance, state safety oversight, and safety management systems for transit capital projects.
Conduct site visits, reviews, audits, inspections, investigations, and prepare FTA compliant safety management plans and reports.
Perform administrative support tasks including progress reporting, invoicing, and preparation of presentations and meeting materials.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required in Transportation Planning, Policy, Transportation or Engineering related field.
Requires a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience in project management, preparing transit safety and security reports, conducting multimodal studies for transit, highway, and/or tollway transportation agencies, State Safety Oversight (SSO), and safety management systems. Knowledge of federal regulations, 49 CFR 673, 49 CFR Part 672, safety standards and transit programs is desired.

Technical Requirements:
Certificates and training from Transportation Safety Institute (TSI), National Transit Institute (NTI), APTA, and/or FTA for transit program management requirements
Certified by TSI/FTA Transit Safety & Security Professional (TSSP) and Public Transportation Safety Training Certification Program (PTSTCP).
Report writing, data analysis, hazard management, incident investigations, and compliance audits.
Proficient in MS Office, Web-based project management systems and monitoring tools.
Knowledge of the transit industry, FTA regulations, multimodal corridors, state & federal regulations for NEPA, State of Good Repair (SOGR), Transit Asset Management (TAM), Safety Management Systems (SMS), National Transit Database (NTD).
