A Day in the Life:
The Technical Delivery Manager for Corporate Platforms will lead solution delivery for Corporate Finance Applications including development, Testing, and oversee the end-to-end delivery of technical projects. This role requires someone who can wear both technical and managerial hats effectively. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on technical experience with Python, Java, or .NET or tools like Automation Anywhere and the ability to manage cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution. The delivery manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering technical projects in an Agile environment, managing vendor teams, and manage development and testing teams. manager will perform technical tasks, such as solution delivery for the Corporate Misc. Applications, testing (SIT, QA, and UAT coordination) for major Corporate Platforms efforts, provide Technical BA support and Change Management for some of the projects.
In addition, the technical delivery manager will be accountable for solving production support issues for applications within scope, reporting service metrics, working with internal and external development teams, and leading the service delivery team of managed services provider working on DevOps pod. To be a successful delivery manager, he/she will have excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and resolve issues effectively.
The starting salary is expected to be between $115-125k and is commensurate with experience. Posting open until position is filled.
What You'll Do:
Provide strategic leadership on emerging technology trends and their applications.
Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring timely issue resolution and program success.
Manage and mentor technical teams while fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
Plan, execute, and deliver technical projects within an Agile or Kanban framework.
Lead testing efforts, including integration, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing, ensuring quality and compliance with organizational standards.
Develop and maintain lifecycle deliverables, technical documentation, and training materials.
Manage vendor teams and collaborate across development, testing, and business units to meet project goals.
Participate in governance meetings, track action items, and prioritize requirements effectively.
Optimize processes and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining high service quality.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, drive team culture, and promote continuous improvement.
Build partnerships to align services with business needs and resolve challenges efficiently.
Adapt to flexible working hours, including occasional weekends and overtime, to meet critical deadlines.
What We're Looking For:
8+ years of experience in technology and business support, including managing development, maintenance, and support engagements.
Strong technical background in Python, Java, .NET, and automation technologies like RPA.
Expertise in cloud platforms, API integration, and CI/CD pipelines.
5+ years of experience leading technical teams and managing Scrum teams in an Agile environment.
Proven ability to manage projects through the entire SDLC and generate business requirements.
Skilled in documenting business opportunities, risks, and success factors for applications.
Experience as a software developer or engineer is preferred.
Proficient in Jira, ServiceNow, and Confluence.
5+ years managing corporate technologies (e.g., finance, accounting, HRMS).
Degree in engineering, computer science, management, or business (or equivalent experience).
Ability to manage remote, distributed teams with 24x7 onshore-offshore coverage.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays when needed.
