Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Contractor will be responsible for:

• Preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery including chillers, freezers, cutting machinery, packaging machinery, grinders, etc.

• Perform troubleshooting on Motors (AD/DC up to 480 voltage both single and three phase)

• Working with PLCs

• Perform welding (Only if they have the experience)

• Following safety procedures of lockout and tag-out

• Working with blueprints/schematics

• Following GMP safety measures

• Troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems

Hard Skills

• Mechanical Skills

• Electrical Skills

• PLC knowledge

Work Environment

1st shift: 6-3. Working some Saturdays. The facility is cold due to the production of hot dogs, hamburgers, and similar meats that need to be kept at a low temperature for shipping. Candidates must be aware that they will be working in sub-40-degree conditions. The job involves working with beef and pork products. Workers wear hair nets, safety glasses, and white smocks/uniforms. Wearing a sweater under the uniform is acceptable. The team consists of about 50+ workers, with approximately 5+ on the maintenance team, and includes a maintenance supervisor.
