We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Family Law Legal Assistant in Chicago. The position will involve a variety of tasks, including litigation support, trial preparation, e-Filing, calendar management, maintaining files, drafting pleadings, and scheduling depositions.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the preparation for and attendance of trials

• Handling electronic filing of legal documents

• Managing and organizing the legal team's calendar

• Maintaining and updating client files for accuracy

• Drafting and preparing legal pleadings for court proceedings

• Scheduling depositions and coordinating with all involved parties

• Providing comprehensive support in the field of Family Law

• Ensuring all client information is kept confidential and secure

• Collaborating with the legal team to ensure smooth operations

• Managing various administrative tasks as needed in the legal department

Requirements

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in Family Law

• Proficiency in Litigation process

• Experience in Trial Preparation

• Familiarity with e-Filing system

• Strong skills in Calendar Management

• Ability to Maintain Files efficiently

• Proven experience in Drafting Pleadings

• Competence in Scheduling Depositions
