Responsibilities

  • Lead a mixed onshore/offshore delivery pod, ensuring successful implementation of ServiceNow FSO (Financial Services Operations) solutions

  • Work closely with client engineers to train and upskill them in ServiceNow development and administration

  • Establish a structured knowledge transfer plan, ensuring the client team gains proficiency in ServiceNow FSO

  • Foster a collaborative learning environment, providing mentorship and support to client engineers

  • Ensure smooth collaboration between onshore, offshore, and client teams for seamless delivery

  • Guide engineers in developing and troubleshooting APIs, Integration Hub, and middleware solutions

  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for the team

  • Provide regular updates to senior stakeholders on project progress, risks, and technical decisions

  • Collaborate with the Solution Architect, Business Process Consultant, and the upskilling team to ensure alignment with business objectives

  • Conduct code reviews, enforce development best practices, and ensure high-quality deliverables

  • Lead and ensure the implementation of automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and performance monitoring for ServiceNow solutions

  • Identify areas for process optimization and drive continuous improvement initiatives

  • Work closely with compliance, enterprise architecture, QA, and infrastructure support teams to address requirements and issues

Requirements

  • 6+ years of ServiceNow implementation experience as an engineer

  • Strong experience in leading cross-functional teams

  • Hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, scripting, and integrations

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and business process automation

  • Experience in training and mentoring engineers, especially in upskilling client teams

  • Prior experience in the insurance industry - big plus

  • Financial Services Operations experience is a plus

  • Ability to travel few times per month to the office in Hartford, CT (we can cover the business travel expenses)

This posting includes a good faith range of the salary EPAM would reasonably expect to pay the selected candidate. The range provided reflects base salary only. Individual compensation offers within the range are based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to: geographic location, experience, credentials, education, training; the demand for the role; and overall business and labor market considerations. Most candidates are hired at a salary within the range disclosed. Salary range: $140,000 - $165,000.
