Position Purpose
We’re seeking spirited “can do” people to join our Warehouse team in the exciting world of hazmat compliance. Experience in Inventory Control is preferred. This is a fast paced environment and requires a great attitude, attention to detail, punctuality and great quality control. Your ability to collaborate with others, communicate, and be dependable are all crucial for this job and able to stand for the whole day.
Inventory Control Associate is hands-on and has experience with various inventory related functions. You are a motivated and driven individual with a proven track record for getting desired results. Responsible for recording and maintaining control of all inventory items purchased and produced. Responsible for receiving product from vendors and manufacturing for quality control, maintaining the daily schedule of cycle counts and audits, managing inventory reports and help ensure the overall accuracy of the warehouse inventory.
Essential Functions & Principal Accountabilities
Audit inventory to keep systems in balance during daily order processing.
Research and resolve all keyed issues, adjustments and discrepancies. Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures.
Assists in maintaining inventory accuracy. Complete follow up to all previous inventory adjustments. Completes and reviews cycle counts. Reconcile daily unexpected back orders and participate in annual physical inventories.
Receives products from vendors and manufacturing to check for quality. Communicates potential quality issues to Purchasing, QA and Accounting teams.
Maintains quality control and inventory control manuals.
Partners with Accounting accordingly on findings and adjustments, reconciliations
Compile daily adjustments at month end for review by the accounting department
Notify management of significant differences in inventory prior to changes
Work with other departments to help achieve corporate goals & promote company policy Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Being physically present at the worksite
Ability to read & interpret documents.
Ability & skill to relate effectively to work associates.
Proven track record obtaining results
Ability to work overtime when needed
Forklift and Equipment Operator Experience
Familiarity with RF Scanner functionality
Ability to multi-task
Good time management skills
Good organizational skills
Problem solving skills

High School Diploma or equivalent
3-5 years relevant Inventory Experience#zip
