Description

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Inventory Clerk located in Chicago, Illinois. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and organizing inventory, as well as testing and assembling voting machines.

Note: This position requires the successful passing of a background check and the ability to lift 50 lbs. This contract will start in September 2024 and go through November.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately track and maintain inventory records.

• Organize voting machines in the warehouse.

• Carry out testing procedures on voting machines to ensure functionality.

• Assemble voting machines following specific guidelines.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the warehouse.

• Adhere to safety procedures and protocols in the warehouse.

• Handle and resolve any issues or inquiries related to voting machines.

• Assist in the preparation of inventory reports.

• Ensure warehouse cleanliness and organization.

• Participate in inventory audits as required.

Requirements

• Familiarity with government regulations and standards related to inventory management is advantageous

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential

• Must be able to lift and move items up to 50 lbs

• Good communication skills are necessary

• Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, are required

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required, a relevant certification or degree is preferred

• Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
