Responsible for architecting and implementing high-performance service infrastructure that powers mission-critical applications at scale. Design elegant APIs, microservices, and cloud-native solutions that balance technical excellence with operational resilience. Craft developer platforms and infrastructure abstractions that reduce cognitive overhead, accelerate iteration cycles, and enable teams to ship with confidence. Serve as a technical leader in establishing patterns for reliability, security, and observability while continuously evolving system architecture to meet growing demands.

Primary Responsibilities:

Design scalable service architectures supporting complex workloads and AI systems.

Develop production-grade APIs (REST, FastAPI, gRPC) with thoughtful developer ergonomics.

Build platform abstractions that reduce infrastructure complexity and operational burden.

Implement and operate cloud-native orchestration systems at scale.

Create developer tooling that streamlines the software delivery lifecycle.

Establish observability practices and performance optimization strategies.

Drive infrastructure-as-code adoption and deployment automation.

Collaborate across engineering, product, and data teams to solve complex technical challenges.

Balance technical debt with pragmatic delivery of business capabilities.

Optimize critical system components for reliability and performance.

Contribute to technical standards and architectural decision-making.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

 5-7+ years of professional software engineering experience, specializing in infrastructure and service-oriented architecture.

-5-7+ years of python coding experience - expert level

Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and operating scalable APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.

Deep understanding of modern cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), container orchestration systems (Kubernetes), and serverless technologies.

Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

Strong coding experience in Python, Java, or Go, with an emphasis on high-quality, maintainable, and testable code.

Extensive experience with CI/CD tools and best practices (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions).

Knowledge of observability tools and methodologies (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, OpenTelemetry).

Familiarity with security best practices in software development and infrastructure management.

Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts and lead architectural discussions with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience with large-scale AI/ML workloads, including RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and GPT-based applications.

Experience in building and managing platform-level solutions serving large-scale personalization and permission-based systems.

Demonstrated leadership experience, mentoring teams, and influencing technical direction.

Experience collaborating closely with internal DevOps, MLOps, and support teams to enhance infrastructure reliability and operational efficiency.

Strong problem-solving abilities, with an aptitude for strategic thinking and long-term architectural planning. null
