Our program takes place from June – August lasting for 10- 12 weeks
ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP
Applicants will be considered for an internship on one of the following teams according to major and interest:
Accounting & Financial Reporting : As an Accounting and Financial Reporting Intern, you will participate in the day-to-day accounting functions of approximately 1-2 operational energy power production plants. You will also research intercompany transactions, prepare quarterly financials, and conduct internal audits of accounting processes and procedures. Your responsibilities will include:
Closing the books and maintaining records of all accounting entities related to assigned plants.
Prepare and review financial statements, including all monthly journal entries, to verify account balances for accuracy and reasonableness.
Prepare project workbooks to support balance sheet and income statement balances and activity.
Ensure accuracy of all general ledger information.
Coordinate project treasury, banking, and cash flow analysis, including project cash reconciliation
Coordinate and communicate project issues with asset managers, project managers and finance professionals.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Currently enrolled in a 4-year Bachelor’s degree program with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and Summer 2026
Majoring in finance , accounting, economics, or related discipline .
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
Demonstrated Interest in the renewable energy or clean energy sector.
