Position Summary

The Industry Marketing Manager plays a critical role in contributing to the growth of Huron’s business. Specifically, this individual will create and implement marketing strategies and that target key customers, potential customers and industry influencers. As a critical member of a larger industry marketing team, the manager with be essential in driving business growth through increased awareness and lead generation activities.

To succeed, this individual must network effectively across the organization to build a broad perspective and a range of resources. The Industry Marketing Manager must work as an effective collaborator, becoming the marketing strategic advisor for the larger industry marketing department

The position will report to the Senior Director of Industry Marketing.

Qualifications

Industry Marketing Manager Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute integrated strategic marketing plans that generate awareness of Huron and drive revenue growth for the Huron’s core industries

• Understand marketing performance and translate those to impactful data driven marketing strategies to increase awareness and brand affinity.

• Develop and identify personas to engage current and prospective buyers at each stage of the buyer’s journey

• Build consensus amongst key stakeholders to ensure successful activation of growth strategies

• Constructs research plans to uncover trends driving transformation in Huron’s core industries.

• Evaluates and measures effectiveness of marketing strategies and presents findings to business leadership.

• Collaborates with marketing – and non-marketing - team members to execute against marketing plans

Job requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree with strong emphasis on marketing, communications or a related field. Master’s degree in any of the areas or an MBA preferred.

• 7 to 10 years’ experience in B2B strategic marketing and communications roles

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Creative, open minded and effective collaborator

• Successful track record partnering with sales teams.

• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environment and to keep calm under pressure

• Proficient in traditional and digital content marketing strategies

• Understands business and marketing analytics and how to use them to drive decision making

The estimated base salary range for this job is $100,000-$145,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $120,000-$174,000. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
