Job Description:

Following a hybrid schedule out of our global headquarters in Chicago (USA), the Senior Specialist, Global Core HR Functional Solutions will assist in the deployment of the Core HR (Employee Central) module within SAP SuccessFactors solution. The role is responsible for partnering alongside our Core HR Functional Solutions Lead in gathering functional requirements on the solution and its global implementation, upgrades for changes, customizations, and enhancements to 150K associates across 23 countries.

In this role, you will collaborate with project team members in the areas of process and service delivery, market domain experts as well as global tech experts and implementation partners to obtain, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements, delivering effective and innovative business solutions. The role will be required to support both global and market HR, Tech, and business partners at all levels of the organization.

This is a functional role requiring experience with requirements gathering, solution design, working with project managers and consultants, testing (design, execution, and troubleshooting), and other related work; aside from understanding end-to-end processes support. In this role, the focus is to document and test Core HR definitions, including managing organization and personal data and the policies and regulations associated to them.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of the Core HR (Employee Central) solution within SAP SuccessFactors HCM as part of Global People Modernization strategy.

  • Serve as a Core HR module/application supervisor, supporting the deployment of the HR solution and tools, transactional and reporting capabilities. Supervise and assist with Core HR integrations, testing, and any related communications or training support related to that functional capability.

  • Partner with key HR, IT, and business team members to understand and document requirements for the solution and leverage those requirements to deploy the solution.

  • Partner with Core HR Functional Solutions Lead, HR partners, Tech Solution Lead and 3rd party vendors to improve system integration between solutions.

  • Work closely with Core HR Functional Solutions Lead, HR partners to enable the design / enhancements to Core HR processes to better utilize the solution.

  • Work closely with other SuccessFactors Functional Solution Leads to ensure an optimal end-to-end SuccessFactors solution.

  • Work closely with the HR Reporting and analytics team on reporting/analytics needs to develop and enhanced capabilities as required.

  • Perform regular audits to ensure data integrity with HR solutions. Support data conversion efforts.

  • Assist with requests for system configuration and upgrades and all requests for application changes, customizations, and/or minor enhancements.

  • Maintain end-user system documentation.

  • Support resolution of data errors and problems and ensure data integrity.

  • Support regular review of the HR solutions Framework’s ability to meet HR and business needs and facilitate effective and efficient processes.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of demonstrated experience deploying Core HR/HCM solutions in large, global organizations.

  • 1-3 years of experience with building and/or supporting HR operations with Core HR/HCM responsibilities.

  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors HCM and the ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training.

  • Experience operating within a cross-functional team with the ability to develop and maintain strong business relationships.

  • Robust knowledge / understanding of HR and business requirements for Core HR that can be translated into prioritized, executable solutions.

  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills.

  • Proven project management experience with the ability to balance multiple initiatives and project timelines and prioritize responsibilities.
