Adecco is assisting one of their top clients with their search for an HR Generalist in Chicago, IL!$ 55.17-57.14/hr Temp to hireYou will partner with HR on various stages of the employee lifecycle from talent management, performance management, onboarding/offboarding, and business-driven initiatives. You will also collaborate extensively with other specialist teams including People Operations, Employee Relations, Learning & Development, People Data & Analytics, to name a few.Provide support to employees and leaders in the business: coaching on performance management, accommodations, business conduct, policies, and other HR-related topicsAnalyze data from various daily activities and projects to identify patterns and trends that can help create, and improve processes, or identify areas of concernPartner with your cross-functional teams on larger projects and organizational changesIdentify and complete continuous improvement of HR programs and processes to enhance the overall employee and manager experienceProvide support to the various functions areas during the performance review lifecycle by contributing to the talent reviews, talent assessment, and follow-upsOwn and strengthen key partnerships on behalf of the team (with other People COEs: Benefits, ER, People Operations, People Data & Analytics, HRBPs)Facilitate the adoption and continuous improvement of HR programs, policies, and processes to improve the enablement and experience of employees and managersComplete processes and project work to maintain compliance in your region or functionBasic QualificationsMinimum 3+ years of professional, related experience as a generalist, advisor, business partner, or project/program manager in the human resources fieldPreferred Qualifications5+ years of professional, related experienceSolid knowledge of US and/or Canadian employment practicesExperience with coaching line managers & peers on HR processes and supporting them in strengthening their leadership skillsProven capability of providing employee and manager HR consultationsExperience with driving positive solutions to advanced employee complaints and discrimination chargesStrong analytical skills and logical thought processes, with the ability to identify and resolve sophisticated and sensitive HR issues/problemsProven effective partner management and collaboration with other teams to deliver a consistent employee experienceExposure to employee relations and understanding of the investigation processExcellent verbal and written communication skills; and strong project management expertiseWorkday experience and/or experience using ticketing systems such as JIRA or ServiceNow is a plusKnowledge of employment law preferred

Pay Details: $55.17 to $57.14 per hour
