Location: This role can be based in Atlanta or Chicago

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

We are looking for a Project Manager to support concurrent talent projects of varying size, duration and complexity who is passionate about helping organizations and people succeed at getting to the next level. This role will be responsible for working with senior project managers across our HR Enablement PMO to plan, manage and deliver strategic, enterprise-wide projects. A critical focus of this role will be to deploy project structure, develop project deliverables and proactively plan and organize to consistently uphold and demonstrate operational excellence. The successful candidate will be adept at achieving alignment across all levels of the organization and have the ability to effectively present information that aligns to project goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Support lead project managers on multiple, concurrent enterprise-level talent projects of varying complexity; projects may be business-focused and/or involve technology investments/system implementations

  • Create and manage roadmaps and project plans; manage day-to-day monitoring tasks and activities; and initiate corrective action where necessary to keep the project on track.

  • Manage the agreed scope as defined in project briefs, manage scope creep, and ensure change requests are clearly called out, agreed upon, and impacted against timeline.e

  • Continually assess action items, risks, and issues maintaining risk and issue logs and contingency plans.

  • Prepare and deliver reporting and escalate any issues, as appropriate, in a timely manner.

  • Support all aspects of project execution, including requirements gathering, project initiation, scope definition, project planning, change control, risk management, close-out, and reporting.

  • Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment, demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and agility.

  • Ensure consistent application of project management standards, processes, and methodologies as defined by the PMO team, with an eye toward continuous improvement.

  • Partner closely with HR Tech Partners, Change Practitioners, Process Excellence, Business Owners and Tech Team to ensure that critical outcomes are met for each project

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or related work experience

  • 4+ years of experience within Project Management and/or Management Consulting

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Applied experience and demonstrated track record with end-to-end project management methodologies & frameworks for cross-functional initiatives

  • Experience using cloud-based technologies (ex. Office 365, Google suite, Smartsheet)

  • Ability to communicate and facilitate discussions to drive project progress

  • Ability to execute successful projects requiring interaction and influence at multiple organizational levels, with a preference for individual with experience working in an HR environment

  • Ability to prioritize, handle changing workloads, and exhibit professionalism under varying circumstances

  • Problem solver, must possess excellent judgment skills & be self-motivated with the ability to work independently

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities/projects with strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within agreed-upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively

  • Capable of anticipating and mitigating risks to the success of the programs/projects

  • Ability to operate as part of a collaborative team across functions to achieve expected results

The pay range for this role is $91,000 to $148,000 Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
