Amazon Advertising operates at the intersection of e-commerce and advertising, offering a rich array of advertising solutions. We partner with advertisers to reach Amazon customers on Amazon.com, across other owned and operated sites like Prime Video and IMDb, on other high-quality sites across the web, and on devices. The Analytics & Insights (A&I) organization develops actionable insights using Amazon's unique data to influence how advertisers promote their businesses. Our insights and measurement solutions enhance their marketing decision-making, and lead them to be more successful with Amazon.
We're seeking an experienced Analytics and Insight Professional (AIP) to join our Global Customer Measurement & Insights team. You'll partner with our largest advertisers to analyze and measure Amazon advertising performance, providing strategic insights to drive success. You will foster partnerships with advertisers, sales, account management, retail, and other Amazon business partners to further business objectives and deliver the best return on investment for our customers.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Leverage Amazon's proprietary data and tools, plus third-party research solutions, to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of an advertiser's investment at global scale
• Own senior-level measurement and insights customer relationships and partner across strategic learning objectives that influence business decision-making
• Decipher complex problems, select ideal analytical solutions to produce applicable insights, and translate findings into actionable recommendations
• Provide guidance to C-suite marketing leaders via compelling narratives and in-person customer presentations
• Develop expertise in Amazon's proprietary metrics, constantly evolving how we analyze and communicate data-driven insights to our advertisers
• Collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively across multiple business functions and geographies
• Educate internal and external stakeholders on Amazon insights and measurement offerings by delivering learning sessions, writing training documentation, and producing thought leadership
• Advocate for data-driven decision making and influence stakeholders to act on insights recommendations
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in an analytical field such as Marketing, Advertising, Business, Commerce, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or Statistics
• 10 + years relevant data analysis and storytelling experience at an advertiser, advertising agency, research provider or media provider
• 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing consulting role in the digital media/AdTech space
• Expertise in digital advertising measurement methodologies, experimentation, marketing mix modeling (MMM), and consumer insights research
• In-depth understanding of advanced statistical techniques and methodologies, as well as simple linear regression analysis, multivariate regression analysis, and model building
• Excellent data-driven storytelling skills - translate and interpret data, create compelling and complex analyses, and deliver in a simple way with outstanding visuals
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build close relationships across a matrixed organization
• Ability to translate technical aspects of analysis and metrics into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end process of marketing campaigns
• A passion for learning new skills and adopting new methodologies and tools
• Comfort working with ambiguity and a wide degree of self-direction
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Advanced degree (MBA, Master's) in related field
• Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write queries from scratch, create appropriate joins, extract and manipulate data, format fields, and create new measures and metrics
• Fluency with analytical tools (Python, R, SAS, etc.)
• Experience in digital campaign management
• Experience working in complex, global organizations

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
