Description
We are seeking a skilled Financial Data Analyst to join our team in the Insurance industry, located in Chicago, Illinois. This role is centered around developing and maintaining our organization's data infrastructure. You will play a pivotal role in designing data architectures, implementing data integration methods, and supporting data-driven decision-making. This position offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with multiple teams to enhance scalable data architectures.
• Develop and manage efficient data pipelines to aggregate data from diverse sources.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency through robust validation procedures and checks.
• Optimize data storage, query performance, and processing workflows for cost-effectiveness and scalability.
• Transform business requirements into architectural designs and implement actionable solutions.
• Continuously improve data systems and processes using agile development methodologies.
• Stay updated with technological advancements and evaluate their applications within the organization.
• Streamline analytics code development and deployment by implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and collaboration among team members.
• Comply with data privacy regulations and policies.
Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Financial Data Analyst role or similar position.
• Proven expertise in utilizing CRM software to organize and interpret data.
• Proficiency in using Crystal Reports for data analysis and report generation.
• Demonstrable knowledge of data mining techniques to extract meaningful insights from large datasets.
• Familiarity with the 'About Time' software suite for efficient project management.
• Solid understanding of basic and advanced accounting functions.
• Experience in conducting financial audits and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Previous involvement in budget processes, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
• Proven ability in capital management, including fundraising, investment, and allocation of funds.
