Camping World Field Recruiting Manager in Chicago, Illinois

Responsibilities of a Field Talent Acquisition Manager include:

  • Lead a High Performing Team: Lead and develop a high performing Field TA team to deliver results in collaboration with hiring managers. Develop, implement, and monitor key recruitment metrics such as time, quality, cost, and source of hire. Provide coaching and on-going development to continue to build the Field TA team's capabilities. Ensure that the Field TA team is following recruiting standard operating procedures.

  • Continuous Improvement: Review and evaluate current Talent Acquisition and hiring process and recommend changes to streamline and enhance. Assess candidate and customer satisfaction and develop plans to continuously monitor and improve the experience. Participate in broader team projects and initiatives to enhance recruiting at Camping World and Good Sam.

  • Hiring Manager Relationships: Engage with Field leaders to ensure understand business strategy, internal talent landscape, TA demand and forecasting to ensure your TA team is able to build pipelines of talent. Closely monitor number of requisitions to be able to effectively scale as hiring demands ebb and flow.

  • Recruiting Process: Ensure that recruiting and employment practices are compliant with federal, state and local laws.

  • Reporting & Data Analytics: Measure and report key TA organization and individual performance metrics. Leverage data to define success metrics, measure productivity, communicate to internal customers, and inform strategic decision making.

  • New Store & Acquisition Process: Develop a strategy and approach to effectively execute the new store and acquisition recruiting process. Ensure that the Field Team is able to meet the hiring demands efficiently and effectively to deliver against dynamic business needs. Coordinate the right resources at the right time and develop innovative ways to source a large number of positions in a short period of time.

  • Identifying and managing external recruiting partners, including executive search firms.

  • Implementing and leading university recruitment programs and identifying and partnering with organizations to attract diverse sources of talent.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or minimum of 7 years of recruiting experience and track record of success in talent acquisition of specialized and/or technical professionals, and experience leading a team of TA professionals.

  • Experience managing a team including virtual team members

  • Experience in high volume recruiting and scaling TA functions with seasonal businesses

  • Experience building relationships with community organizations and educational institutions

  • Experience in the Automotive, RV, Outdoor, and/or Manufacturing industry is preferred

  • Knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and fair employment practices including OFCCP compliance

  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively

  • Strong understanding of HR software solutions, including but not limited to: Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Human Resources Information System (HRIS), and Human Capital Management (HCM).

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for a prolonged period of time

  • Consistently operates a computer and other office machinery

  • Willing to spend 50% of the year traveling for business, possibly with short notice

Pay Range:

$131,145.00-$196,665.00 Annual
