Restaurant Depot Facilites Manager in Chicago, Illinois

Facilities Manager

Jetro Restaurant Depot Facilities Manager is responsible for the maintenance of multiple equipment types in their assigned stores Working closely with the Director of HVAC, Refrigeration, and Energy Management, they will be responsible for management of preventative and reactive work in their assigned stores. They will also be responsible for overseeing the timely and proper completion of 3rd party vendors, where applicable

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Review of store created work orders for proper details

  • Dispatch of work orders to appropriate vendor

  • Management of quotes and invoices to include: review, approval, ensuring correct scopes of work, etc

  • Remotely monitor HVAC/Refrigeration systems via Jetro RD supplied tools to ensure proper operation of in store equipment

  • Remotely manage in store HVAC and Lighting schedules to ensure adherence to in store hours and company sustainability goals

  • Management of internal HVAC/Refrigeration & General Maintenance Tech OR management of 3rd party vendors, where applicable

  • Building effective relationships with assigned branches, regionals, directors and internal OR 3rd party technicians

  • Review of store utility bills to identify savings opportunities

  • Implementation of systems to increase visibility into store operations, reduce energy consumption to support company’s sustainability goals

  • Review of monthly maintenance expenses with Director of HVAC, Refrigeration and Energy Management to identify savings opportunities, problem sites, excessive spend, repeat offenders, etc

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in Facilities Maintenance, Business, or other applicable field OR 4+ years of experience in Facilities Management OR other relevant experience

  • Experience in Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of building controls systems and HVAC/Refrigeration systems

  • Knowledge of other in store equipment types including: electrical, plumbing, structural, roofing, material handling equipment, etc

  • Ability to adapt to changing, and competing, demands using best judgment to set priorities

  • Understanding of various state/federal regulations pertaining to refrigerant handling, sustainability requirements, etc

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $45,000 to $55,000 per year. Depending on location and experience. Final rate of pay will meet, or exceed, any location specific minimums
