Job overview and responsibilities

The Director - Finance Transformation Management Office is instrumental in supervising and driving the large-scale transformation initiatives within the finance organization. The focus will be on guiding the planning, coordination, and implementation of transformation projects to ensure they meet the organization's goals and deliver the encouraged outcomes.

  • Identify and submit new Transformation opportunities to the leadership and establish a process and technology transformation roadmap

  • Provide oversight and governance for all transformation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget

  • Develop and own the budget for transformation initiatives, ensuring efficient and effective use of financial resources

  • Establish and supervise performance indicators and metrics to evaluate the success and impact of transformation initiatives

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with transformation initiatives, ensuring proactive management of potential issues

  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership and collaborators on the progress, achievements, and challenges of the transformation efforts

  • Facilitate collaboration and coordination across different functions and departments to ensure alignment and integration of transformation efforts

  • Identify and request support from the proper resources for project management, communications, organizational change, and execution SMEs/resources

  • Lead all aspects of the development and delivery of training programs to equip skills and knowledge needed to embrace and sustain the transformation

  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing and refining transformation processes and practices based on feedback and lessons learned

Qualifications

Required

  • Master's degree or related experience in MBA

  • 10+ years of extensive experience of leading large transformation programs

  • Excellent planning, organization and time management with the ability to support and prioritize multiple projects

  • Strong project management abilities, including prioritising and planning, structured thinking, and risk identification

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and engaging collaborators at all levels

  • Solid understanding of organizational change principles and methodologies

  • Financial competence and experience in managing budgets and analyzing finances

  • Ability to mentor and develop team members, encouraging a culture of continuous improvement

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

Preferred

  • MBA – top tier business school

  • Deep understanding of the airlines industry, including processes and enabling technologies, market trends, regulatory environment, and competitive landscape

The base pay range for this role is $155,895.00 to $212,410.00.

The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
