Summary

The Closing Auditors provides operational support by performing specific administrative and financial tasks to prepare Chapter 13 plans for discharge.

Qualifications

Candidates must have the following skills to qualify for this position: Ability to read and interpret very complex materials; compute fairly complex mathematical and statistical problems; operate sensitive machines; resolve difficult problems; analytical judgment; detail oriented; good communication and customer service skills; strong financial, organizational and data entry skills; ability to process a high volume of accurate, detailed and quality work product; and ability to work under stress.

Education requirements

Bachelors degree required.

Audit Experience a plus.

Classification

The Closing Audit Specialist receives overtime pay under the Fair labor Standards Act.

Organization

The Closing Audit Specialist participates as a member of the financial team. The Controller provides coaching and feedback.

Compensation

This position is in wage class 7-9 depending on experience and productivity and receives compensation within the salary range established for this grade. Compensation is adjusted subject to the guidelines of the performance appraisal system.
