AREA MANAGER AT PRIMEFLIGHT

The Area Manager will support Prime Appearance a subsidiary of PrimeFlight Aviation and will report to the Sr. Director of Operations and oversee a specific area or set of site locations. The position involves working closely with Site Managers, Senior Leadership, and HR to ensure seamless operations while maintaining compliance with state and local regulations. Key responsibilities include adhering to FAA, OSHA, and company safety guidelines, assisting with budget development, recommending operational enhancements, overseeing recruitment efforts, and spearheading business development initiatives to support the growth of each location. Additionally, the Area Manager will be responsible for setting up and opening new locations acquired by the company as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure all operational systems are effectively implemented and that staff are trained to deliver exceptional service in line with the company's standards

  • Develop and implement systems to enhance the efficiency of aircraft cleaning and staff organization

  • Supervise site managers and employees, ensuring adherence to HR guidelines in hiring, employee discipline, and safety protocols

  • Assist the Regional Vice President in creating and adhering to financial budgets for each location, while monitoring and controlling operational costs

  • Ensure compliance with FAA, OSHA, and Sharp Details guidelines, maintaining a safe working environment across all sites

  • Conduct performance evaluations for Site Managers, providing input and recommendations for improvements

  • Maintain open communication with the Executive Management Team, Site Managers, and customers to convey important information and address any issues

  • Actively participate in initiatives to grow the customer base, including identifying opportunities for new contracts and expanding existing services

  • Perform regular safety audits and operational inspections to verify compliance with company standards and safety protocols

  • Assist in the training, coaching, and mentoring of Site Managers and other staff, ensuring consistent service delivery across all locations

  • Oversee the opening of new locations, including staff organization, scheduling, and implementation of operational processes

  • May be assigned other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 18 years of age or older

  • Eligible to work in the United States

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field

  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience leading diverse teams and operations

  • One year of demonstrated business development or sales experience

  • Prior knowledge of financial budgeting and reporting

  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documents

  • Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means

  • Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

  • Pass a background check and drug screen

  • Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)

  • Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays

  • Travel requirements up to 80%

  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include: Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)
