Job Description Summary
The Analyst, Benefits supports the governance and administration of the organization\'s benefits programs - health & welfare, retirement, and others - and leave of absence policies in compliance with all relevant laws, ordinances and regulations. This role resolves employees\' and other participants\' questions and issues, collaborating with internal cross-functional team members and external vendor partners as needed. This role also supports the analysis and testing of the organization\'s human resources systems, including Workday and UKG.

Job Description
The Analyst, Benefits will:
- Learn and apply knowledge of the laws, ordinances and regulations that govern the organization\'s benefits programs, leave of absence policies and human resources systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve inquiries related to benefits, leaves of absence and human resources systems with exceptional customer service. Escalate complex inquiries to the appropriate team member when necessary
- Perform day-to-day administrative tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures
- Process events related to benefits and leaves of absence in Workday and UKG
- Ensure the accuracy of participant data in internal and external systems
- Support the analysis and testing of new features and enhancements to existing systems and processes
- Deliver education on the organization\'s benefits programs, leave of absence policies and HRIS through communication, lunch & learns, training sessions and office hours
- Perform all other duties that may be assigned in the best interest of Shirley Ryan AbilityLab
Reporting Relationships
Reports directly to the Director, Total Rewards.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
- Bachelor\'s degree in human resources or business required. Will consider a bachelor\'s degree in another field if the candidate has experience in benefits and leaves of absence administration
- Minimum of 2 years of benefits and leaves of absence administration experience
- Workday experience required; UKG experience preferred
- Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with all employees
- Adaptability to changing business conditions and priorities
Working Conditions
Normal office environment with little or no exposure to dust or extreme temperature.
Pay and Benefits*:
Pay Range: \$61,000 annually - \$89,400 annually
