You Are

An experienced Life Insurance and Annuity professional who has years of experience in the industry. You have a good understanding of the industry products and business processes. You have experience working with software which supports insurance products. As a Product Configuration Lead you will support design and configuration of software implementations for life and annuity products in the Accenture Life Insurance & Annuity Platform (ALIP). You will interact with client companies to understand their products and recommend the best way to implement them in ALIP. To be successful in this role, you need to understand client product requirements and be able to translate them into ALIP configuration designs. You need to be able to work across the implementation team and ensure that the product configuration supports the business processes and integration needs. You will support development and testing teams during the project.

The Work

The ideal candidate will have a solid working knowledge of individual life insurance and annuity products, with experience implementing these products in administrative or illustration systems. We are open to candidates with product development experience for these types of products, provided they also have some technical expertise. Specifically, candidates should have experience in L&A Product Design and Configuration, feel comfortable working directly with clients’ product teams, and enjoy collaborating in a team environment.

As a Product Configuration Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Requirement gathering and analysis, configuration design, build, and test using ALIP Product Configuration to meet business process and application requirements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy ALIP and surrounding solutions.

  • Manage product configuration development using Product Development Management methodologies.

  • Ensure the quality and integrity of the application by conducting detailed analysis and testing.

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Here’s What You Need

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with individual life insurance and annuity product design

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience implementing individual life insurance and/or annuity products in administrative or illustration systems

  • Minimum 1 year past experience with any US-based life insurance and/or annuity administration system like ALIP or working on the product team of a US carrier

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

Bonus Points If

  • You have a minimum 3 years’ experience in business consulting or technical consulting

  • You completed one or more actuarial exams

  • Familiarity with group insurance

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
