Description

Major Responsibilities:

 Processing and review of payment requests for adequate supporting documentation and approvals

in accordance with Kingsway America’s Expenditure Authority Matrix.

 Code and prepare all payment requests to identify and classify the nature of the expenditure in the

accounting records.

 Maintain standards for timely and accurate processing of all accounts payable transactions.

 Transmit positive pay files to bank.

 Manage monthly credit card expenses and support.

 Process stop payment requests.

 Deposit checks.

 Prepare and file 1099 reports at year-end.

 Assist with inquiries from internal and external auditors.

 Identify and recommend solutions for process inefficiencies.

 Interact effectively with all levels of the organization and external parties.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree preferred.

 Minimum one year of accounts payable experience preferred.

 Clearly demonstrates a sense of urgency and bias for action.

 Ability to set work priorities/goals and adjust changing priorities.

 Good oral and written communication, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.

 Working knowledge of MS Office software programs, including MS Word and Excel.

 Sage Intacct experience a plus.
