AnthroMed Education School Social Worker in Chicago Heights, Illinois

School Social Worker

AnthroMed Education is seeking a School Social Worker to support students in a K-12th grade school for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year. This position involves working with students who have IEPs in a supportive and collaborative school environment alongside another School Social Worker.

Position Details:

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • End Date: May 28th, 2025

  • Caseload: K-12th grade students with emotional and behavioral disabilities 

  • Schedule: Full-time

  • Team Support: Collaborate with another School Social Worker in the building

Responsibilities:

  • Provide social-emotional and behavioral support to students with IEPs.

  • Develop and implement individualized goals and interventions.

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and the multidisciplinary team to meet students' needs.

  • Maintain documentation and reports in compliance with IEP requirements.

  • Act as a resource for staff and families, supporting the social and emotional growth of students.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s (MSW) or Doctoral degree in Social Work

  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker endorsement
