Position: I&E Quality Control Manager

We are looking for an experienced self-motivated I&E Quality Manager to join our growing Industrial Construction team. This position will be responsible for the duties listed below along with other related functions. A team-oriented mentality and the drive to continuously improve is what sets the Loenbro team at the top of the industry. This position works closely with related engineering, construction, fabrication, and other departments to ensure that the team’s aligned goals are being met.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Committed to Loenbro’s core values and safety policies.

• Identify inspections and documentation as required for projects.

• Assemble and review project documentation packages

• Manage project turnover requirements and process.

• Create and implement Project Quality Assurance Plans

• Write and implement inspection and test plans (I&TP’s)

• Perform Megger testing validation inspections.

• Verify cable landing and lug torquing activities.

• Perform and document inspections based on drawings, specifications, and procedures to determine compliance.

• Provide support and training to other inspectors as requested or assigned.

• Plan and execute Root Cause Analysis’ and Corrective Action Reports

• Manage quality personnel on projects ensuring the project is supported and that inspections are performed and documented.

• Provide assurance that Loenbro’s quality program in upheld and adhered to.

  Skills/Qualifications:

• Self-motivated with the drive to learn and grow.

• Experience with NEC and adequate experience installing electrical equipment.

• Electrical license is a plus.

• Efficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

• Must be able to work as a team and communicate effectively with co-workers and management.

• Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills

• High level of organizational skills

• Extensive knowledge of reading and understanding drawings and specifications.

• Ability and willingness to travel as needed.

• Must be 18 years of age or older

  Experience:

• Knowledge and experience working under a Quality Management Program

• Experience with working to customer specifications

• Experience working directly with customers as needed.

• Electrical power (120V to 34KV) and Instrumentation experience

• 5+ years working as a Quality Control Inspector

• Quality Management experience is desired.

  Potential Hazard:

• Working outside in extreme weather conditions

• Exposure to loud noises and abnormal odors

• Confined space work

• Working in areas with overhead activities

  Essential Requirements:

• Comply with all company policies and procedures

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Climbing up and down stairs and ladders while working on scaffolds and in trenches to access work.

• Lifting up to 50 pounds

• Walking on uneven terrain for extended periods

• Standing for extended periods

• The use of respirators if required by projects

• Driving if required to travel to and from locations

• Occasionally may need to kneel, reach or stoop

• If driving is required, valid driver license and proof of insurability is required. All drivers are subject to a DMV background records search.
