Job Description

The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Generative AI solutions team is responsible for growing OCI’s Generative AI services and platform. In this role, you will have an opportunity to lead a team of outbound product managers to work teams of data scientists and developers from major Fortune 100 companies to deliver solutions that delights our customers with the confidence that their data are safe and protected.

Your Opportunity

We are building a high-achieving Generative AI outbound solutions team who can help our customers on their journey to adopt OCI Generative AI services. In this role you will work closely with our strategic customers (internal and external) and partners, helping them develop end-to-end solutions to their business scenarios. With the team of outbound product managers, you will lead customer engagements, delight customers with applying OCI Generative AI to their business challenges, communicate customer requirements to influence support product strategy and functionality. You will partner closely with our engineering, product, research, and sales teams to help customers be successful using our products.

We’re looking for a seasoned product leader who will bring a passion for innovative products, strong collaboration skills and the ability to work closely with both customers and internal teams. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of Generative AI, classical AI, machine learning, cloud architecture and experience as an influential leader in large organizations. You’ll have the ability to be hands-on when needed, as well as be adept at influencing multiple stakeholders to get things done efficiently. Most importantly – we believe in a people-first approach. Your Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of outbound product managers to help scale customer adoption by developing customer and partner engagement strategy, coach product managers on market vertical and business function specific Generative AI application opportunities and strategize to meet with OCI Data, AI and Generative AI portfolio.

  • Work directly with key customers and accompany them on their AI journey – understanding their requirements, help them envision and design the right solutions. You and your team will work together with business, engineering and data science teams to remove blockers and translate customer feedback into actionable items

  • Design and build solutions and help customers reach successful pilots, PoCs and production deployments with Oracle Generative AI, AI Services, Data Science and other cloud technologies as necessary

  • Be an Oracle Generative AI product evangelist - engage directly with customers and partners, participate and present in external events and conferences, etc.

  • Stay ahead of new technologies, act as a leader with vision and be a spokesperson for Oracle's AI services, representing the company at industry conferences, events, and customer engagements.

Your Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience as a data science / engineering / product leader, bridging the gap between technical and business domains.

  • 5+ years of managing Analytics, AI, Data Science, ML based products.

  • 2+ years of experience managing language, vision, speech AI based products

  • 1+ years of experience of managing Generative AI/LLM products.

  • You’ll have domain expertise in a few key industries and functions, and a growth mindset to stretch outside your comfort zone

  • Experience with machine learning / artificial intelligence and understanding of how to apply them to real world problems is required. Hands-on experience in developing and delivering data, machine learning and AI-driven solutions is desired.

  • Customer focus and narrative building along with experience working alongside enterprise customers / developers on machine learning / artificial intelligence scenarios to accelerate product adoption and usage is required.

  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing impactful, high performing, experienced product managers.

  • Excellent partner leadership skills with experience in building and cultivating strategic partnerships.

  • Exceptional communication and the ability to articulate sophisticated concepts to a variety of audiences.

Responsibilities

As a Director in the product development division, you will lead a team that defines product specifications and or strategy. Engage customers to learn requirements and strategize to deliver them with OCI Data, AI and Generative AI portfolio. Envision and communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Be an Oracle Generative AI product evangelist - engage directly with customers and partners, participate and present in external events and conferences, etc.

US: Hiring Range: from $130,000 to $291,900 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
