Robert Half Systems Security Administrator in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Systems Security Administrator in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. This role operates within the tech industry and requires an individual with strong technical and customer service skills. The role involves managing security systems, working closely with physical equipment and servers, and providing support to end users.

Responsibilities:

• Transition from current SEIM ArcSite to a new management monitoring system

• Work directly with physical equipment and servers, highlighting the importance of computer hardware skills

• Provide hands-on support to end users, emphasizing the need for strong customer service skills

• Handle incident tickets and provide solutions to ongoing security issues

• Conduct regular audits of system logs to ensure security and functionality

• Be the subject matter expert for other tech personnel and end users, requiring a comprehensive understanding of Systems Security Administration

• Utilize knowledge of Access Control, Cisco Technologies, Database, EO/IR systems, Firewall Technologies, Active Directory, Auditing, Authentication, and Configuration Management

• Monitor and manage security vulnerabilities within the network

• Ensure the proper configuration management of systems to maintain security and performance standards

• Continuously update and maintain accurate customer credit records. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Systems Security Administrator role or similar position

• Knowledgeable in Access Control procedures

• Proficient in Cisco Technologies

• Experience in Database management

• Familiar with EO/IR systems

• Experience with Firewall Technologies

• Proficient in Active Directory

• Experience in Auditing procedures

• Knowledge of Authentication protocols

• Familiarity with Computer Hardware

• Proficient in Configuration Management

• Knowledge of Security Vulnerability and Network Vulnerability

• Strong communication skills

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities

• Possess a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
