Chesterfield County Human Resource Management Family Services Program Manager in Chesterfield, Virginia
*[Family Services Programs Manager *[Social Services *[Hiring Range: $80,815 - $94,958 *[Deadline: 11:59 p.m. November 3, 2024 [The Chesterfield-Colonial Heights Department of Social Services is seeking an [experienced professional to provide leadership and program oversight to the family services programs (child protective services, family preservation, adult services). The position may provide oversight to all family services programs including foster care, adoption, employment services and assessment and resources should the need arise. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader who uses a strengths-based and solution-focused approach in all aspects of leadership and program oversight.
[The Family Services Program Manager will work collaboratively with front-line supervisors, community partners and leaders to bring about system change and process improvements. Under the general supervision of the Assistant Director for Family Services, this position is responsible for managing aspects of program development, process improvements, quality assurance and staff development for Family Services programs. This position will work collaboratively with front-line supervisors to ensure seamless delivery of services, ongoing cross team communication and promote strategies for consistent performance expectations.
[The Program Manager will regularly engage in the evaluation of program processes, effectiveness and quality of service delivery; track and monitor outcomes using strengths-based, trauma-informed and proven quality assurance methods; collect and analyze data to guide program evaluation and process improvements; compile, interpret and disseminate program data and information; provide ongoing education and training to supervisors and staff regarding best practice changes; collaborate with internal and external partners in the best interest of the agency and citizens; work collaboratively with supervisors and staff to establish performance measures and processes for consistent performance evaluation; promote the departments vision, mission and model the agencys leadership philosophy in all aspects of service delivery; review and evaluate service effectiveness using data and various program evaluation methods, respond to and prepare reports; serve as an active participant on the Family Services leadership team and the agency-wide leadership team; apply knowledge of Virginia policies in childrens services and other applicable programs, and assist in budget preparation. - Master's degree in a Social Work; and two years of experience in child and family serving programs.
- One year Experience as a supervisor; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Child welfare experience in Virginia public social services preferred.
- Experience compiling reports, correspondence, data and narrative of case management and grant proposals.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed practices preferred.
