About the Role:

The Regulatory Compliance Analyst is responsible for providing regulatory support and analysis for LS Power’s transmission utilities. The primary role of the Regulatory Compliance Analyst will be to support the implementation of the FERC Standards of Conduct and State Public Utility Commission Code of Conduct programs in concert with the various business units and departments at LS Power under the supervision of the Senior Director, Transmission Reliability Compliance.

Responsibilities

What you will do:

  • Support the Transmission Reliability Compliance team in the oversight of the FERC Standards of Conduct and State Public Utility Commission Code of Conduct programs.

  • Maintain awareness of new rules and regulations from FERC and State Public Utilities Commission in the states where LS Power Transmission operates.

  • Assist in the management and submission of compliance reporting obligations.

  • Provide support with internal investigations, audits and responses to regulatory requests from federal and state regulatory agencies.

  • Assists with identification and management of potential compliance issues.

  • Track mitigating activities utilizing compliance management tool.

  • Assist with the documentation of policies and procedures

  • Assist with the development and implementation of internal controls.

  • Assist in the development of compliance program training materials.

  • Develop metrics and reports.

  • Complete other projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Are detail oriented and proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PP).
