Aston Carter Accounts Payable Administrator in Chesterfield, Missouri

Job Title: Accounts Payable Administrator

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable using accounting software and other programs.

  • Ensure bills are posted and paid in a timely and accurate manner to proper accounting period, account, and cost center.

  • Verify accounts by reconciling statements and transactions.

  • Resolve account discrepancies by investigating documentation, issuing stop payments, and adjustments.

  • Manage electronic filing of vendor contracts, invoices, and other related documents.

  • Assist in preparation and filing of 1099s.

  • Respond to client inquiries as needed.

  • Perform other accounting-related functions as needed.

Essential Skills

  • Accounts payable

  • Microsoft Office

  • Excel data entry

  • Data entry

  • Analytical skills

  • Must be familiar with all AP functions

  • Strong analytical and math skills

  • Effective written and oral communication skills

  • Proficient with Excel, Word, and Adobe

  • Experience with Accounts Payable and General Ledger software

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience with AVID and/or Navision a plus but not required

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00
