Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a DevSecOps to join a small federal business. This person will report up to the CTO and help implement DEVOPS practices. They will also work hand and hand with the developers to make the system automated so their system is less manual and will help eliminate the redundancy of what they have to manually input. The right candidate will have knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and of backend languages such as Java, C++, Tomcat, and SQL. They will also have knowledge of DEVOPS servers like Jenkins and Nessus. The four main responsibilities they will have will be to manage testing environments, perform security management, deploy applications, and other administrative task.

Skills and Requirements

A Bachelors degree in IT and 5+ years of experience in Network Security/Operations.

Ability to get and keep a DoD Security Clearance.

Knowledge of PKI and authentication methods.

5+ years of experience with Apache Tomcat.

High-level programming skills (e.g., Java, C++).

Experience with SQL and CI/CD security processes.

Strong communication skills.

Ability to work on ships. Knowledge of DevSecOps tools (e.g., git, Jenkins, Nessus).

Experience with cloud services.

Experience with Linux and scripting (e.g., bash).

Experience with Windows installer packages.

Security experience with OpenSSL and Apache Tomcat.
