Job Summary: The College of Health Science and Public Health (CHSPH) at Eastern Washington University seeks candidates for the position of Associate Dean. Reporting to the CHSPH Dean beginning September 2024, this is a full-time administrative position at the rank of Associate or Full Professor. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. Provide significant leadership for the College of Health Science and Public Health (CHSPH) and fulfill responsibilities as delegated by the Dean. This individual will have a progressive vision for effective teaching and research, as well as possess strong communication, mentoring, and team building skills. This position will effectively guide and represent the college in initiatives across the university, will assist in the development of a strategic plan related to the growth and capacity within the specific disciplines in CHSPH, and will ensure adherence to the college's and department P&P's by working with the faculty. They will expand on internal and external relationships including fundraising to support and develop academic program within CHSPH. Position will develop a comprehensive plan to forecast growth within the college to meet current and future demand. This individual will also assist and advise the Dean on administrative matters including college governance, student affairs, enrollment, curriculum, faculty teaching loads, program review, academic assessment and other matters assigned by the Dean to enhance the programs and mission of the college. Position will be assigned to fulfill other functions as needed and as assigned. This is a 100% exempt appointment.
