Are you passionate about swimming and teaching others? Join our team at British Swim School as a Swim Instructor and help individuals of all ages become confident swimmers in a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct swim lessons according to British Swim School curriculum and guidelines.

• Provide exceptional customer service to all students and parents.

• Ensure safety of all participants by enforcing pool rules and following safety protocols.

• Evaluate and document students' progress and provide feedback to parents.

• Maintain a clean and organized swim area.

• Participate in regular staff meetings and training sessions.

• Work with kids and adult students.

Must have:

Previous experience as a swim instructor preferred, but not required (paid training provided).

Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid certifications preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to put on showtime for students during swim lessons.

Ability to work with children and adults of all ages and skill levels.

Reliable and punctual.

Be able to work on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 3-7pm and Saturdays/Sundays 8:30-1pm (Not all days are required).

Be able to pass background check

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

While we teach swimming to people of all ages and abilities, most of our students are preschool and elementary-aged kids. Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable. It's helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job, but it's not required if you can show the right attitude. The job comes with specialized training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach.

We also have exciting opportunities with our Customer Service Team, even if you're not in the pool. These are the people committed to providing the best service in the industry. In these roles, you might talk to parents on the phone or by the pool. Wherever you are, the aim is to make everyone feel like part of the British Swim School Family as we focus on ensuring the “Survival of the Littlest.”
