Medical Physicist Radiation Oncology Specialty Contingent Day Shift

Work Location: Chelsea Hospital

The Trinity Health St Joseph Mercy Health System and Chelsea Hospital is seeking a contingent Radiation Oncology Medical Physicist to join its team of six (6) Medical Physicists and six (6) Dosimetrists that provide coverage for five (5) facilities across the greater Ann Arbor area.

We are an integrated system using ARIA and Eclipse 16.1 with the RadFormation suite of products, Varian accelerators, with active CyberKnife and HDR programs at our Ann Arbor campus. The successful candidate would work at a facility with a Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator, VisionRT, 6DOF, and a 4DCT simulator. We also support the education of radiation therapy students at all our locations.

REQUIRED EDUCATION / LICENSURE

  • Requires M.S. or PhD degree in medical physics.

  • ABR certification strongly preferred, ABR eligible required.

  • At least five years of work experience in a progressive radiation oncology facility is preferred.
