Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate CDC Lead Teacher to join our team. The role of a CDC Lead Teacher is to create a safe and nurturing environment for children and lead a team of teacher assistants. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to ensuring the well-being and development of young children. Qualifications: Associate\'s degree in early childhood education or a related field (or equivalent experience and education) Previous experience working as a lead teacher in a CDC or similar setting Knowledge of child development and early childhood education theories and practices Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to lead and work effectively as a part of a team Patience, flexibility, and a genuine love for working with children Responsibilities: Create a safe and engaging learning environment for children Develop and implement developmentally appropriate activities and lessons Provide individual attention and support to children as needed Assist children with daily tasks such as eating, dressing, and toileting Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues Observe and document children\'s progress and behavior Lead and mentor teacher assistants Maintain a clean and organized classroom Follow all health and safety procedures Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required We offer a competitive salary and benefits package for this position.
