Your main tasks and responsibilities:
Directly or through delegation, manage Business Process Activities:
RFQ and tendering processing
Procurement processes
Order entry processing, order planning, order coordination / project management
Central point of contact for customer questions regarding schedules and other inquiries at the service center.
Ensure expeditious communication with customer on tenders, order changes, status updates and concerns
Management of orders through to completion and ensure changes to order are conveyed to appropriate departments
Monthly Sales Forecasting support
Provides counsel to Engineering, Quality, procurement, and manufacturing with key activity due dates and work prioritization
Support activities related to sales department regarding tenders, procurement, and orders
Actively involved with standardization and continuous improvement processes
Supports, cooperates with, and participates in company-wide LEAN and QESH Management System which includes following all safety, health and environmental policies and procedures
Other management responsibilities as directed by the Operations Manager and General Manager, as well as maintaining all company initiatives
Responsible for direct report’s activities.
Adheres to company and department policies, procedures, and standards
Performs other duties as assigned
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Qualification in Engineering, Science or Business discipline or approved combination of experience and education
Minimum of five years’ experience in closely related position. Preferably in a Manufacturing, Sales, Customer Service environment
Strong Commercial awareness
Experience in negotiation in a Commercial environment
Staff Management experience
Knowledge of Pump or other Manufacturing and Project Management
Experience with engineered products and quality principles
Proficient knowledge of Nuclear, Commercial, or Export markets
Demonstrate computer proficiency with knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and all aspects of SAP strongly preferred
Salesforce CRM experience a plus
The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, sectional drawings, engineered bill of materials
The ability to read and understand customer specific requirements on inquiries and purchase orders
