Our client, one of the largest automotive manufacturers in the world, is hiring an Audio Engineer to test the radio, media, and connected device functions and capabilities for their North American market.

This team sits out of the plant location in Chattanooga, TN and as an Audio Engineer on this team, you will support electrical infotainment configuration, testing, and troubleshooting within the vehicles.

This role starts on contract and it will extend and can convert over!

Responsibilities:

  • Execute the infotainment / connected device testing for infotainment systems

  • Report and communicate results and critical issues to key project partners

  • Document failures on infotainment communication errors found during static and dynamic evaluation

  • Upload documentation to the central database and follows up directly with responsible engineers for resolution

  • Ensure the test benches and vehicles are at the correct version levels

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred

  • 2+ years of electrical engineering experience in radio, infotainment, connected device

  • Experience with vehicle / transportation infotainment control modules

  • Experience supporting root cause analysis

  • Must be able to successfully pass an MVR background check

  • Must have a valid drivers license for road testing
