Description

We are offering a full-time, hybrid, contract-to-permanent opportunity for an Accounting Assistant in the logistics industry, based in Chattanooga, Tennessee. In this role, you will be responsible for lease portfolio management through various tasks such as invoice processing, data entry, and assisting with period-end accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and code lease invoices based on the business unit

• Monitor the lease invoices inbox for incoming lease invoices and inquiries from vendors

• Maintain coordination with accounts payable and other accounting staff for efficient operations

• Input lease invoice data into lease management software

• Assist in the reconciliation of lease payment clearing accounts

• Identify invoices for new and expired leases, and assist in creating or updating lease abstracts

Requirements

• Previous experience with accounting functions (payables, receivables, etc.) is required

• High volume processing experience

• Willingness to learn and absorb the knowledge of processes and procedures

• Familiar with account reconciliation

• Standard Microsoft Excel experience

• Fast and accurate data entry skills
