Job Title: Systems Engineer III

Job Description

As a Systems Engineer III, you will work on highly complex project systems that require innovative and original solutions. You will have exposure to the entire development lifecycle, from concept to completion, for development programs. Your responsibilities will include technical planning, estimating, tracking, and completing projects on time and within budget. You will teach and train Jr technical staff, provide guidance to your team, and work mostly independently with minimal supervision. You will take on substantial proposal writing sections and design review data packages and develop innovative solutions to unique problems. Your technical accomplishments will be recognized at design reviews and within the site in your area of expertise. You will craft effective technical paths to capture significant follow-on business and effectively lead work teams within your group. You will give effective presentations to general audiences and write convincing proposals and reports with all necessary backup to resolve divergent technical opinions within the team and with customers.

Hard Skills

  • MBSE experience

  • Exposure to development lifecycle

  • Technical planning

  • Proposal writing

  • Design review data packages

  • Understanding of space industry standards

  • Familiarity with mil/aero industry standards

  • Development of innovative solutions

  • Teaching and training Jr technical staff

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Chatsworth, California.
