Job Title: Raw Materials Lab CoordinatorJob Description

The Raw Materials Lab Coordinator is responsible for managing the inventory and supply of raw materials in a busy, fast-paced formulation stability lab. This role supports stability chemists by ensuring that all necessary materials are stocked and available, and coordinates with suppliers and third-party testing companies to maintain efficient lab operations. Key Responsibilities: - Lab Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of lab inventory, including tracking usage and reordering supplies as needed. - Stocking Raw Materials: Ensure that raw materials are properly stocked for stability chemists and other lab personnel. - Supplier Coordination: Handle supplier safety data sheets (SDS) and Certificates of Analysis (CoA), ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and compliant. - Shipping and Tracking: Coordinate the shipping and tracking of samples to third-party testing companies. - Collaboration: Partner with the production team to source materials for the lab and ensure seamless operations. - Compliance: Ensure all raw materials and lab practices comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Hard Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for inventory tracking and data management

  • Experience with shipping processes

  • Email and communication skills for coordinating with suppliers and partners

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Chatsworth, California.

Work Environment

Busy, fast-paced formulation stability lab. Collaborative team environment with frequent interaction with production and lab teams. Working with the Formulation / Stability lab for a formulation / contract manufacturer of cosmetics.
