The Mechanical Engineer II for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for design changes and updates for the deployed Immunoassay instrument fleet.

This position is part of the Immunoassay R&D Engineering located in Chaska MN, and will be an On-site position, which is 3 days onsite and 2 days the flexibility to work from home. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Design solutions to complex mechanical problems

• Work with cross-functional groups to accomplish design changes

• Understand complicated electromechanical devices that handle diagnostic samples

• Support a variety of diagnostic instruments during their life cycle

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2+ years experience in a related field OR Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering

• Experience in a highly regulated industry

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Medical device development engineering

• Skilled in the systems engineering approach
