Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Top Secret Data Scientist to support a DoD program in the Charlottesville, VA area. This candidate will be responsible for receiving projects annually, with the entire period of performance to complete them. They will work within a team of 4 data scientists on 14-18 projects of varying size and data science intensity. Responsibilities include, meeting with client representatives 1-2 times a month for updates and feedback, and consulting with clients on feasible solutions. The candidate will collaborate with intelligence analysts to automate data sets and design project deliverables creatively based on client needs. They will utilize Python, AnyLogic, and increasingly Tableau for creating dashboards and data sets, and employ text extraction tools for automated data input into datasets.

Clearance: Applicants selected will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Schedule: Monday - Friday; core hours 9am-3pm

Hourly compensation while on contract: $48/hr - $70/hr

Conversion Salary: $100k -$140k

Skills and Requirements

Active DoD Sponsored TS clearance

  Masters degree and 8 years of experience or Bachelors degree and 11 years of experience

  Python, AnyLogic, and/or Tableau

  Experience creating dashboards and data sets, and text extraction (automated data extracted out of a report and put into spreadsheets) Active DoD Sponsored TS/SCI clearance

  Large language modeling (LLM): artificial intelligence

Worked with Army clients/military in general null
